glee.

is my new favourite tv show.  And it is exactly how I feel when I watch it.  I know it's been out for a little while now, but it's never too late to get into a show like this...

because it's a musical.  And I love musicals.  So I'm loving this show.

What do you expect?  It's a tv show about a high school glee club.  How is this different from High School Musical?  It just is.  And it's better.

Here's a song from the first episode.  I've posted about Journey before.  I don't know why, but I love this song.  It takes me back to my childhood, maybe.  The opening gave me goosebumps.  It may be cheese, but it's cheesy goodness.

As soon as I saw this post on my friend, Joey's blog, I had to post about it, too.

I know it's not even December, but if you are a Christmas card sending type of person, you've got to check out these cards by my uber-talented artist friend, Andrea (Joey's sister).  I remember getting one of her homemade Christmas cards last year and was so tickled at how super it was.  I've always been a fan of Andrea's amazing artwork (if you need an illustrator, hire her).  Actually, the whole family of siblings are pretty talented creative types all around (Joey - foodie/picture taker & Joel - music maker).

p.s. I'm especially fond of this family, if you couldn't tell.  They're one of my favourites.

Anyhoo...Andrea has created Christmas cards that you could get through her Etsy store, lost in thought bubbles.  They're really cute and simple.  Check them out.  Order a set.  Send them to family and friends.  Or pass them out to people on the street, just to spread the joy.  Or put them up on your walls in nice picture frames because they're that good.

Through an initiative of Volkswagen, The Fun Theory is an effort to "change people's behaviour for the better."

Here are a couple of the projects.  I think that taking care of your body and the environment are givens when it comes to the betterment of life for all.  And making things a little more fun to do certainly isn't a bad incentive.

I put in my earphones.  Crank up the volume.  Yelling kids.  Gone.  Phone chatter.  Gone.  School talk.  Gone.  The office has disappeared and it's just me and the music.

Such a good place to be.
